I am a Physician Assistant and also earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. I decided to delve into the realm of medicine when a very dear friend was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder. At the time of his diagnosis, I was studying English and found that I was unable to help him. Since my career path changed, I have never looked back. I have always been very passionate about helping others and my position as a Physician Assistant has allowed me to do just that.
I was trained by the medical model and strictly adhered to it until about 2012 when I removed my blinders and began exploring other avenues. At the time, I was working in a very busy Emergency Department seeing patients with missed diagnoses and wrong diagnoses along with symptoms from medicine interactions and reactions. My practice was really making me wonder if there was something better out there.
Since that moment when the light bulb turned on, I have been excitedly educating others and helping to bridge the gap between alternative and modern medicine. We all have a human body and it is my goal to help everyone realize that it can truly heal itself if given the right things. I have immersed myself in learning about alternative therapies and am excited to share more with those ready to learn. I also studied at the Gerson Institute.
Currently, I am still practicing as an Emergency Department Physician Assistant because I want to remain up to date on current practices in Western medicine; however, I also own a small wellness center, Inner Greatness Center, where I see patients by appointment only. My goal is to help educate others so that they too can be in charge of their own health and make more informed decisions to live a healthier life.
